Hey Team Tri Life! I have had the MOST wonderful weekend receiving email after email from athletes who did SO well at their races yesterday. As always, I’m terrified I’ll forget someone. If I do, please tell me. I’m going to use some of the words written by you in this update. I hope that is OK. My thoughts are italicized.
Race season is fast approaching and this inaugural 3 day camp is an ideal way to get mentally and physically prepared; shake out some of the pre-race jitters!!
This active three day comprehensive local training weekend will challenge and excite all athletes training for Sprint and Olympic Distance right up to Ironman. The focus is on volume workouts, race day skills and tactics.
It’s been a busy day! Lots of emails from me I know. I hope I haven’t overloaded your mailboxes!
So... what do we need to talk about! LOTS!!!!! Some AMAZING results, some good results, and some challenging days... all which deserve to be acknowledged! I hope I don’t miss anyone. As always, if I do, PLEASE email me ASAP so I can make amends!

“You could ride your ass off and get 10 minutes but you lose 20 or 30 in the run.” That was a quote from Lance Armstrong in an interview yesterday posted on Outside Magazine Blog. Looks like he wants to try an Ironman! Good advice from one of the worlds top cyclists. Its not just about the bike after all!
Calgary 70.3: This was quite a day for the athletes AND all the TTL volunteers who manned the first aid station on the bike. THANK YOU to all of you who gave up your day to support our athletes and all the others who tackled this challenging course. We showed that as a team, we race, we cheer, AND we give back. I was very proud to be a part of that. So... what about the athletes...
