Yoshimi is working hard towards her first 70.3 in St. George! This weekend she raced a sprint triathlon to test her training and it went well! Her swim wasn’t where she wanted it to be, and anyone who has done a pool 400m triathlon knows you are at the mercy of the swimmers around you! This was the only “glitch” in a very successful day though! Her bike was 2 1/2 minutes faster than her last sprint! (She has done no specific training for this race distance either!). Her run was the 3rd fastest in the event which shows her ability to run well off a very strong bike! Her transitions… both were 49 seconds! This was a gigantic improvement off her last race too! Attention to detail saves time Yoshimi! You are working hard and today was a reward for your efforts! 5th woman overall and AG winner! CONGRATS!
