What a day!!  Shannon moved to the UK for her job. It’s been a tough transition, and through this Shannon has managed to do her training.  It blows my mind what she is capable of doing!

Race day had some challenges. The water was 14 degrees C. OUCH!  The bike started chilly but warmed up, then the run was 23 which for someone not from the heat, is a warm temp!  Add to that non stop hills and this course threw pretty much every challenge imaginable at Shannon and her good friends from Canada, Kelly and Mitch.  It was fun for Coach to wake up this morning and see she was out of the swim and onto the bike!  She even got to spend some time with Kelly on the run course which is pretty cool!  Congrats Shannon!  Your first “new home” 70.3 is in the books! I’m very proud of you.
