Sharon had a strong day in Wasa to take the overall win for women! She was solid across the board for swim bike and run, but a bit of a hamstring niggly made her pull back a bit on the 10k to protect that sore area. The win was awesome, but Sharon is always pushing herself to be her best and she didn’t quite get the chance to test her pretty stellar run speed in this race! Her day will come soon enough though. Being confident enough to manage an injury quickly and concisely is one of Sharon’s biggest assets as an athlete. She did what she needed to do at Wasa, and I’m pretty pumped to see this girl fly at Great White North! CONGRATS SHARON!
