I would never have completed a triathlon, let alone think about doing one if it weren’t for Tri-Life. I always thought, “Why would anyone want to put themselves through that?” I changed my mind after a couple of spin class sessions with Tri-Life. During those classes, I saw how much camaraderie everyone had. Everyone talked about triathlons, running, biking, swimming and how much fun they had. I decided I wanted to try one too. Only problem was that I didn’t know how to swim, not one stroke. I tried swim lessons outside of Tri-Life for more than a year and could barely go one length while only slightly drowning. Wasn’t pretty. I finally asked Angie if she could teach me. She said yes, and after a lot of work, I was able to do my first open water swim triathlon in 13 months. I’m still learning and having fun.
