Where to celebrate National Margarita Day 2024 on Thursday

National Margarita Day is Thursday and there are some tasty deals at national restaurant chains.

DENVER — Thursday is National Margarita Day and many restaurant chains are offering deals and discounts on the classic beverage.

According to the Distilled Spirits Council, Americans are now spending more on tequila than whiskey. Over the last 20 years, tequila volumes have grown 294%, an average rate of 7.1% per year, the council said.


Chili’s has unleashed three margaritas for National Margarita Day: Tequila Trifecta, Spice-A-Rita, and StrawEddy Margs. 

The Tequila Trifecta is $5 and made with el Jimador Silver, 1800 Reposado and Jose Cuervo Gold. The $6 StrawEddy has Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka, Lunazul Blanco Tequila and strawberry puree. The Spice-A-Rita is $10 and made with Espolón Reposado Tequila, Grand Marnier, Monin Jalapeño and a dash of Tajin spice mix.


Chuy’s said that on National Margarita Day, guests can upgrade a House Rocks ‘Ritas or House Frozen ‘Ritas to a Grande for $2 and keep the giveaway cup. Extra tequila or orange liqueur pours are $1.

The Macho Nachos are $3 off from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Dave & Buster’s

Dave & Buster’s locations nationwide have $5 margaritas from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday.

On The Border 

On The Border is serving $4 Grande House Margs and $8 1800 Gran Ritas on Thursday.

Torchy’s Tacos 

Torchy’s Tacos will be celebrating National Margarita Day with all-day $2 happy hour pricing on Thursday and Friday.

Twin Peaks 

Twin Peaks has five deals for National Margarita Day: $5 House Margaritas, $6 Peaks Margaritas, $7 Margarita On The Rocks, $8 Watermelon Margaritas and $8 Casamigos Pool Party Margarita.
