Against Al-Shabab… Al-Khaleej is chasing the first win

The first Gulf football team continues to chase its first victory this year, and on Saturday, it hosts its counterpart, Al-Shabab, in the 22nd round of the Saudi Roshan League.
Al-Khaleej, with 23 points, won for the last time on December 21 of last year, when it beat Al-Fayhaa 3-0 in the 18th round. After that, it played three matches, all within “Roshen”, losing two of them, at the hands of Al-Ahly 0-1 and Al-Ittifaq 0-2, and tied. 1-1 with Al Hazm.
The men of Portuguese coach Pedro Emmanuel are hoping to repeat their superiority over Al-Shabab, which they won in the first round, 3-1.
On the other hand, Al-Shabab, coached by Portuguese Vitor Pereira, is armed with its positive record of results in Gulf hospitality.
Out of four visits, within the professional league, “Al-Lioth” achieved three victories on the home ground of the Al-Sharqawi team, the last of which was 3-2 for the second round of last season.
Al-Shabab collected 24 points this season, placing them in 11th place, directly in front of Al-Khaleej.
