Allegri is angry after the loss to Napoli…
Massimiliano Allegri, coach of Juventus, identified the reasons for his team’s loss to Napoli at the top of the Italian League, and criticized his team’s playing style.
Juventus lost to Napoli yesterday evening, Sunday, by two goals to one, in the top matches of the 27th round of the Italian League, which brought them together at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.
The Italian coach said in statements to the DAZN network after the match: “Alcaraz appeared well, in the absence of McKennie and Rabiot, and Napoli had many opportunities, unlike us, we did not take advantage of the opportunities that were given to us.”
He continued: “We also played with a pig mentality. We were trying to penetrate Napoli’s defenses from the middle instead of widening the field. We should have been more vigilant in certain situations.”
He added: “We were playing with one of the youngest players in the history of Juventus ever, and this means that we are working well. Our goal is to help the players develop so that they are ready for the next season.”
It is worth noting that Juventus is in second place in the Serie A standings with 57 points, 15 points behind leaders Inter.
