Today, Tuesday, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the date of the quarter-final draw for the African Champions League and Confederation Cup for the current season, “2023-2024.”
Al-Ahly is participating alone in the African Champions League after Pyramids’ exit, while Zamalek and Modern Future are in the Confederation.
The Champions League and Confederation League quarter-final draws were scheduled to be held on Tuesday, March 12.
The Confederation draw will start at 2:00 pm Cairo time.
While the quarter-final draw ceremony for the African Champions League begins at three o’clock Cairo time.
Teams qualifying for the quarter-finals of the African Champions League:
Al Ahly (Egypt), ASEC Mimosas (Côte d’Ivoire), Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Petro Atletico (Angola), Mazembe (DR Congo), Simba (Tanzania), Esperance (Tunisia), Young Africans (Tanzania).
Teams qualifying for the Confederation Cup quarter-finals:
Zamalek (Egypt), Modern Future (Egypt), Ittihad Algeria (Algeria), Dreams (Ghana), RS Berkane (Morocco), Abu Salim (Libya), Rivers United (Nigeria), Stade Mali (Mali).
