4 clubs qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League, most notably Real Madrid and City


So far, 4 clubs have secured their place in the quarter-finals of the competition Champions League For the current season 2023-2024, with the conclusion of the competitions of the first week of the second leg of the competition’s quarter-final matches, on Wednesday evening.


The English champions Manchester City, Spain’s Real Madrid, France’s Paris Saint-Germain and Germany’s Bayern Munich qualified for the Champions League quarter-finals.


Manchester City arrived, at the expense of the Danish team Copenhagen, by defeating them with a score of 6-2, in the aggregate of the two matches, while Real Madrid, after defeating Leipzig in Germany, narrowly advanced, with a score of 2-1 in the aggregate of the two matches.


French Paris Saint-Germain also qualified, after defeating Spanish Real Sociedad, with a score of 4-1 on aggregate of the two matches, and Bayern Munich reserved its place at the expense of the Italian team Lazio, with a score of 3-1 on aggregate.


The rest of the clubs qualified for the Champions League quarter-finals will be identified after the end of the other four matches in the second leg of the 16-final, which will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
