Adopted Ministryof Supply And internal trade decided to reduce the price of mixed oil per liter to 80 pounds compared to 100 pounds in the free market, and to reduce the price of edible oil in consumer mall outlets from 70 to 65 pounds across the governorates of the Republic.

The price of a kilo of rice at Ahlan Ramadan showrooms was also reduced to 29 pounds, with a 3% fraction, instead of 31 pounds. The price of fresh local meat was also reduced to 320 pounds instead of 480 pounds. Fresh Sudanese meat was offered at 250 pounds, and local or imported frozen poultry was offered at 100. One pound per kilo, also providing all other food commodities at reduced prices compared to other markets.

Dr. Ali Al-Moselhy, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, had confirmed that the decision to adopt a reduction in the prices of mixed edible oil from 100 to 80 pounds per litre, is not limited only to edible oil products that are currently produced, but also includes products that have been manufactured over the past weeks. It is currently being put on the market, as part of an effort to reduce the burden on citizens, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership to provide food commodities and secure a reserve of all products at all times, sufficient for long periods.
