In a few hours, the holy month of Ramadan will knock on the doors of those who long and are eager to welcome the best months and days of God Almighty, the month of fasting, prayers, and good deeds. The Egyptian Fatwa House is scheduled to begin the activities of announcing the sighting of the crescent of the blessed month of Ramadan for the year 1445 AH, today, Sunday, March 10, 2024, corresponding to the 29th of the month. Shaban of the year 1444 AH, and astronomical calculations have announced that tomorrow, Monday, March 11, 2024, is the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.
As for the best thing with which a Muslim begins the holy month, it is the greatest supplication of the Prophet, and one of his supplications, may God bless him and grant him peace upon sighting the crescent moon, is that he said: “Oh God, make it a month for us with safety, security, safety, Islam, and success for what you love and are pleased with, our Lord and your Lord God.”
The Hijri months, in order, are:
1- Muharram, 2- Safar, 3- Rabi’ al-Awwal, 4- Rabi’ al-Akhir, 5- Jumada al-Awwal, 6- Jumada al-Akhir, 7- Rajab, 8- Shaban, 9- Ramadan, 10- Shawwal, 11- Dhul-Qa’dah, 12 – Dhu al-Hijjah.
As for the fasting month of the first day of Ramadan, which is astronomically scheduled for Monday, March 11, corresponding to Ramadan 1, according to the city of Cairo:
The duration of fasting hours is 13 hours and 18 minutes
Suhoor 2:23

Al-Fajr 4:43
Al-Shorouk 6:09
Noon 12:05
Al-Asr 3:28
Maghrib prayer 6:01
