Bournemouth snatched an exciting victory from its guest, Luton Town, by four goals to three, in the match that brought the two teams together on Wednesday evening, at the Vitality Stadium, which was postponed from the seventeenth round of the English Premier League.
The Premier League had decided to replay the match between Bournemouth and Luton, after playing 59 minutes of it last December, after Tom Lockyer, the latter’s captain, suffered a heart attack.
The Luton Town team finished the first half of the match with a 3-0 lead, scored by Chong, Ogbeni and Barkley, in the 9th, 31st and first minutes of stoppage time of the match.
Bournemouth succeeded in turning the tables in the second half, scoring 4 goals through Solanke, Zbrny, and two goals from Simenyo, in the 50th, 62nd, 64th and 83rd minutes of the match.
Bournemouth raised its score to 35 points in thirteenth place in the English Premier League table, while Luton Town’s score stopped at 21 points in eighteenth place.
Arsenal leads the Premier League standings on goal difference over Liverpool, after being equal on 64 points.
