President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inspected the headquarters of the Police Academy at dawn today, where he followed the progress of work at the academy, the training of students, and their level of readiness.
President Sisi praised the students’ discipline and the skills and abilities they acquired, stressing the state’s keenness to select the best personnel to maintain the country’s security.
President Sisi held a dialogue with the new students in which he congratulated them on joining the Police Academy and the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. He also congratulated the Christian students on the occasion of Great Lent.
President Sisi pointed out that the human factor is very important because it has a very large impact on performance, development, progress, the state of discipline, and everything.
President Sisi said that global events and the repercussions they imposed during the past four years, such as the Corona pandemic, the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, and then the events in Gaza, had a major negative impact on the economy in Egypt, adding: “But I can tell you very briefly that the measures that were taken We have taken these measures over the past few weeks, and we are trying to be on the right path to re-correct and improve our economic path.”
President Sisi added that Egypt has succeeded in reaching a preliminary agreement with the International Monetary Fund, and there is a form of support with the World Bank and the European Union, in addition to other measures taken by the state, and they are all steps on our part to improve, develop, and decisively reform the economic situation. President Sisi continued: “I am reassuring you that, thank God, things are going well, and we do not have a problem with goods or needs, and even the supplies that were delayed at the ports, thank God, are coming out now… This is regarding the internal situation, very briefly.”
