Italian Roma qualified for the quarter-finals, despite losing to its English host, Brighton, 0-1.

Roma benefited from its great victory in the first leg with a clean 4-0 victory, qualifying as a 4-1 winner on aggregate.

Danny Welbeck scored the only goal of the match for Brighton in the 37th minute.
