The Prime Minister directed the importance of ensuring the structural safety of buildings, and forming an immediate urgent committee composed of contracting companies approved by Giza Governorate, in order to determine the extent of the damage and prepare engineering measurements that guarantee the necessary time and cost of restoring the buildings to their original state before the fire..

The Prime Minister also directed that an amount of 15 thousand pounds be given as a payment to the affected families for their homes as a rental value for several months to come, equivalent to the rental value in the area in which they live, until the buildings are rehabilitated and returned to their original condition..

The Prime Minister added that we will bear the cost of restoring the situation as it was before the fire, as the people are not to blame, and it is our duty to return the thing to its original state, and he continued: Praise be to God, and through His grace, no deaths occurred in this unfortunate fire..

The Prime Minister also directed the Civil Registry to issue replacement national ID cards for those who lost them in the fire, and periodic follow-up from officials to the executive site on the ground..

The Governor of Giza assured the Prime Minister that work would continue to implement cooling works for all fire sites, explaining that a number of neighboring properties had been evacuated until the firefighting work was completed, in order to ensure the public safety of citizens..

During his tour of the accident site, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly made sure to shake hands with the civil protection men, and extended his greetings and appreciation to them for the efforts they made last night to deal with the fire and control it.
