Economic cooperation between Egypt and the European Union countries has achieved remarkable steps in terms of trade exchange and investments that Egypt received, especially in the past year 2023, which reflects the size of the political relations between the two sides.

Data revealed Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics On the list of the most important groups of goods exchanged between Egypt and the European Union countries in the recent period, the ranking of the most important goods that Egypt exported to the European Union countries was as follows:

– Fuels, mineral oils and their distillation products worth $2.9 billion.

– Iron and steel – steel worth $1.2 billion.

– Fertilizers worth $987 million.

– Machines, electrical appliances and parts worth $977 million.

– Plastics and their products worth $848 million.

On the other hand, the most important groups of goods that Egypt imported from European Union countries were as follows:

– Machinery boilers, mechanical devices and their parts worth $2.7 billion.

– Pharmaceutical products worth $2 billion.

– Fuels, mineral oils and their distillation products worth $1.8 billion.

– Cars, tractors, bicycles and their parts worth $1.6 billion.

– Iron and steel – steel worth $1.1 billion.
