Several separate areas in Greater Cairo are now witnessing heavy thunderstorms, coinciding with the unstable weather conditions the country is witnessing, while the General Meteorological Authority revealed that Greater Cairo is now under the influence of rain clouds, accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity and sometimes thunderstorms.
The General Authority of Meteorology revealed that the latest satellite images indicate the proliferation of low, medium and cumulus rain clouds over areas of Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo and North Upper Egypt, with thunderstorms sometimes in some areas.
Today, Friday, there will be a slight drop in temperatures, with hot weather prevailing during the day in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, warm on the northern coasts, hot in South Sinai and the south of the country, and pleasant at night in most parts and in the early morning.
Today also witnesses wind activity in most parts, and chances of light rain in the morning, which may be moderate in the early morning in areas of the west and south of Greater Cairo, and chances of moderate rain on the northwestern coasts and northern Lower Egypt, and chances of light rain in areas of South Sinai and the Red Sea mountain ranges. Chances of light to moderate rain in the morning in areas of Fayoum and Beni Suef.
As for the temperatures today, Friday: Greater Cairo is 27 degrees and Low is 15, Great Alexandria is 23 and Low is 14, Matrouh is 20 degrees and Low is 15, Great Sohag is 31 degrees and Low is 16, Great Qena is 33 degrees and Low is 17, and Great Aswan is 34 degrees and low is 18.
