Books – Muhammad Qadous:

Dr. Mahmoud Al-Hawari, Assistant Secretary-General for Preaching and Religious Media at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, spoke about the importance of the last ten days of Ramadan, the most important actions in them, and the honor of Laylat Al-Qadr and how a Muslim perceives it, supporting his speech with what was reported from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, which we say is authentic.

Al-Hawari says to Masrawy: Every Ramadan, there is renewed talk about certain topics, and this does not mean that they are exhausted or old, but rather they are renewed topics that * renew faith in the hearts, renew thought in the minds, raise the determination to reach degrees and dwell in Paradise, and call to work and obedience. *

One of these renewed topics is the season of the last ten days of Ramadan and what is related to it.

These last ten days of Ramadan are a renewed season for the nation, a season of divine giving, and a season of giving of faith. These ten days have a special importance for our master, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his companions, and they have different feelings and specific acts of worship.

The Assistant Secretary-General for Call and Religious Information at Al-Azhar says: The first lessons learned from these ten revolve around *revering time and being righteous to it. Perhaps talking about righteousness over time is new to some people, but Islam commands us to be righteous in general, and commands us to do good with everything, for righteousness is in Islam. It is not limited to honoring parents or relatives only, but righteousness includes time, place, and people. Some times need righteousness, and some places need righteousness.*
The intended meaning of righteousness is that we perform the duty that God has commanded us to do in it.

Al-Hawari explained that God Almighty has distinguished the time of the last ten days of Ramadan by making it a place of blessings, scents, and divine gifts, a place of doubling wages, and a place of closeness to God, the Forgiving.
The righteous and loving servants of God have their hearts and minds moved during these ten days to achieve God’s pleasure, with the forms of worship that are found in this time, and it is rare for them to be found in other times.

Whoever looks at the condition of our Master, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, will know how he reveres this time and prepares in special preparation for these blessed nights in himself, in his worship, and in his family.

The well-known and preserved hadith that depicts the condition of our Master, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was reported by Muslim in his Sahih that when the ten days of prayer came, he, may God bless him and grant him peace, would wake up for the night, wake up his family, find and tighten the apron.

The first expression that describes the condition of our Master, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, during these ten days is that he used to revive the night, and reviving the night and standing up is not strange for our Master, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, as he revived the night before Ramadan, and he revived the night at the beginning and middle of Ramadan, and he is the one who The Lord of the Worlds said to him: “O, O you who are distinguished, * Arise through the night except a little, * half of it, or subtract a little from it, * or add to it, and recite the Qur’an in a resonant manner.” So it is understood from this that commemorating the tenth had a special quality or a special flavor. .

It was mentioned in some hadith narrations that he used to stay up all night during these ten days, immersing himself in prayer, remembrance, and contemplation.

Some people fall short in respecting themselves, so you see them not praying at night in Ramadan except lazily, as if they are being led to stand up and pray out of haste, and there is a difference between someone who is driven to prayer due to his laziness and preferring his share of rest, and someone who rushes to it and seeks rest in it and prefers the command of his Lord over his own desires.
*The nation, especially its youth, who are its strength and energy, is in great need of accustoming patience to worship, after the rapid movement of life has affected them.*
Al-Hawari explained that the most important of the great deeds in these ten days is that he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to wake up his family for prayer, and how beautiful it is for the family to come together according to the religion of God.
*There is an important feature in waking up for prayer, which is that the family comes together for one goal, to get out of the crisis of isolation that the family is suffering from, in which bodies come together, but every heart is in a place and every mind is in a thought. They are in a difficult diaspora that is interrupted by the meeting for obedience and worship.*
He said that the solution to many of the problems of our lives, and many of the problems of discord between spouses, lies in worshiping God Almighty, and in coming together to obey Him, and our master, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, sometimes commanded this. The ways of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, Ali, may God be pleased with him. And Fatima, the daughter of the Prophet, peace be upon him, one night, and he said: Don’t you pray? He did not go to them to consort, but rather to show them what God brings the family together and creates a state of familiarity, affection and mercy between spouses.

How much we need these meanings in our time!
One time, Lady Fatima, peace be upon her, complained about the effects of a mill grinding on her hand. When a captive man, may God bless him and grant him peace, came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, Fatima, may God be pleased with her, went to him, asking him for a servant from this captivity whom she could seek help in a matter. her house, but she did not find the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace Ali, may God bless him and grant him peace, was in his house, and I found Aisha, may God be pleased with her, and told her about that. When he, may God bless him and grant him peace, came, Aisha, may God be pleased with her, informed him that Fatima, may God be pleased with her, had come to him to ask him for a servant. Ali, may God be pleased with him, said: Then the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, came to him. He was handed over to us and we took our beds That is, we prepared for sleep, so I went to get up, and he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: Where you are, meaning: Stay where you are, and he said: Shall I not teach you something better than what you asked of me, in terms of giving you a servant? And he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “If you take a dormitory,” which is the places prepared for sleeping from the night, then they raised thirty -four times, and praised thirty and thirty times, and thirty and thirty.

Waking up the family to pray during these ten days was one of his guidance, peace be upon him, and he urged the men, if they were guided by God to do good, such as standing, to join their wives with them, and he urged the wives, if God granted them good, such as standing, to join their husbands. He said: “May God have mercy on a man who got up at night and prayed.” He woke up his wife, and if she refused, he sprinkled water on her face. May God have mercy on a woman who got up at night and prayed and woke up her husband, but if he refused, she sprinkled water on his face.

A man should not be preoccupied with himself and obeying Him alone and forget his family, nor should a woman be so, for God Almighty says: “O you who have believed, save yourselves and your families from a fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are harsh and severe angels.” They do not disobey God in what He has commanded them, but they do what they are commanded.” And such noble guidance One of his keenness, may God bless him and grant him peace, is for spouses to participate in doing good deeds and getting closer through obedience, which helps in dealing with life’s problems.

The Assistant Secretary General for Preaching and Religious Information at Al-Azhar explained the deeds of the last ten days that came from our master, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he used to tighten the apron, and the meaning is either a metaphor for the intensity of his care during these blessed days, or that he used to isolate himself from women during these days, and preferred obedience. On lust and busy with worship; To purify oneself of afflictions and bring it closer to the elevation of the heart to the paths of acceptance.

Among the actions of the last ten days of Ramadan is seclusion and disconnection from the world, and our master, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not abandon the Sunnah of seclusion until God took him to Him.

It is as if this work opens for the nation a door of hope, and guides them to a way to realize the Night of Decree, which people are keen to seek and perform. Whoever secludes will be helped to realize the Night of Decree.

Al-Bukhari narrated that he, may the peace and blessings of God be upon him, secluded himself for twenty days in the year he died, and how people are in dire need in this era in which matter has dominated to return to the spirit and respond to its call.

Fasting, standing, i’tikaf, and reading the Qur’an bring together the signs of success for the servant. Fasting protects the heart from desires, strengthens it to make a decision to leave forbidden things, and calls a person to abandon greedy food, drink, and desires. I’tikaf contains a great secret that protects a person from the greedy association that corrupts the heart and mind. It is as if this The tithe is a beneficial treatment for the body and soul together, and for the mind and heart together.

It is worth noting that i’tikaf may be valid for the least part of the day or night during these ten days, and it is not a condition that a person perform i’tikaf for all ten days or nights. Yes, it is Sunnah for a person to i’tikaf for the last ten days, but it is also valid for a person to i’tikaf for some of the last ten days or night.

Al-Hawari explained that if a person is attached to a job or has worked on it for the duration of his life, and he is unable to seclude the entire tithe, then it is permissible for him to seclude even part of the tithe.

As for Laylat al-Qadr of these ten days, it is the greatest reward for those whom God has destined to attain.

The Night of Destiny was called by this name. Because God Almighty sends down angels of power in it, and it was said: Because a book of power was sent down in it, through a king of power, to a messenger of power and a nation of power, as it was said: Because obedience has a great value in it, as it was said: Because whoever established it and revived it became It has value, and there is no objection to naming it with this name for all of these meanings.

He said about this night: The Night of Decree has a great virtue declared by the Holy Qur’an. It is the night the Qur’an was revealed, the best book for the best nation. God Almighty said: “Indeed, We sent it down on the Night of Decree,” and it is a night in which God determines the destinies of His servants. God Almighty said: “In it He will be separated.” “Every wise matter is a command from Us. Indeed, it is We who are messengers.” On this night, God determines the destinies of the servants in their year, and writes in it the living and the dead, the happy and the miserable. Blessed is he who stands it before his Lord, asking Him to write it in the Diwan of the Accepted.

Among its virtues is that it is a blessed night. God Almighty said: “Indeed, We sent it down on a blessed night,” and that worship on it is superior to worship in a thousand months. God Almighty said: “The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months,” meaning more than eighty-three years and four months.

Among its virtues is that the trustee of the revelation, Gabriel, peace be upon him, and the angels descend therein by the permission of their Lord, and that it is a night of peace and tranquility until the beginning of dawn. God Almighty says: “The angels and the spirit descend therein by the permission of their Lord for every matter. * Peace, it is until the beginning of dawn.” “Ra”, it is a night free of evil And hurt.
It is the duty of a Muslim during these blessed nights to strive to reformulate himself again and emerge from it as a divine servant who listens to God and obeys.
