Water was cut off for 10 hours in some areas of Giza on Friday morning

Giza Governorate announced that, as part of implementing the diversion of a 600 mm diameter water line that conflicts with the construction of the beginning and home of the Hasballah Al-Kafrawy Bridge in the city of Abu Nomros, Misr-Assiut Agricultural Road, the line has been diverted and the connection work on the existing line remains.

The governorate indicated that the Water and Sanitation Company will cut off water for 10 hours, from 1 a.m. on Friday, March 29, 2024, until 11 a.m. on Saturday, in order to connect the new line with the existing line.

The governorate explained that the areas affected by the water cut are: Al-Manawat village and Tamouh village.

Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, assigned the head of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company to adhere to the specified timetable for the work to restore water pumping in its natural form to the affected areas, directing the head of the city of Abu Nomros to follow up on the field of the work and remove any obstacles.
