The Jeddah Ittihad team defeated its guest, the Al-Fayhaa team, by three goals to one, in the match that brought them together on Friday evening, at the “Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City”, in the 25th round of the Saudi League. Ahmed Hegazy participated with Al-Ittihad in the entire match, and appeared at a distinguished level throughout the events of the match.
French star Karim Benzema, Al-Ittihad striker, missed a penalty kick in the 20th minute of the match, which was saved by Al-Fayhaa’s goalkeeper.
Al-Fayhaa team succeeded in scoring the lead goal through Moroccan striker Abdelhamid Sabri in the 25th minute from a penalty kick.
His compatriot, the star Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah, equalized the score for the Al-Ittihad team in the 30th minute, and Ahmed Al-Ghamdi succeeded in scoring the second goal for the Tigers team in the second minute of time instead of stoppage time.
In the second half, Marwan Saeed Al-Sahafi scored the third goal for Al-Ittihad Jeddah team in the fourth minute of time instead of stoppage time for the match.
Al-Ittihad raised its score to 46 points in fourth place in the Saudi League ranking table, while Al-Fayhaa’s score stopped at 32 points in eighth place, and Al-Hilal leads with 68 points.
