Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, made television statements at the conclusion of his inspection tour today of a number of factories in 10th of Ramadan City, expressing his happiness that the visit included two factories from the largest international companies in the field of home appliance manufacturing, namely “Haier” and “Beko.” Less than a year after receiving the land in the city, they were able to fully establish the first phase of the factories and begin trial operation, pointing out that the areas of each factory in its first phase are not less than 60 to 70 thousand square meters.

Madbouly added that the presence of these international companies in Egypt is a very great message of confidence in the Egyptian state, which is what prompts it to establish regional factories aimed at covering part of the local market and exporting abroad.

The Prime Minister noted that during his previous visit to Haier, he requested the implementation of a central air conditioning production line, and today he saw this line, which has already begun trial operation to produce central air conditioning units for the first time in Egypt, in a quick and serious response from the company, and by next May it will already be producing. Central air conditioning units.

The Prime Minister added that today he also asked Haier to establish a production line for giant air conditioning units that serve entire buildings, and directed that land be allocated so that the company can expand its projects, as this factory will be implemented during the year, covering Egypt and other countries of the world with its products.

The Prime Minister explained that to ensure stable economic growth in the future and not be exposed again to any external disturbances that would affect the state, Egypt must rely on productive sectors.

He continued: Therefore, we have identified four main sectors on which the Egyptian economy depends in the next stage, which are: industry, agriculture, communications and information technology, and tourism.

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly said: I would like to refer here specifically to the industrial sector, explaining that the coming period requires a pioneering and leading role for the industrial sector in Egypt. In this context, he stressed that the state and the government have been working to strengthen that sector for some time.

The Prime Minister added that despite all the unprecedented difficulties and challenges that faced the country over the past four years, in light of the reforms that took place, today we are witnessing the fruits of those reforms through existing new factories and the significant growth of the industrial sector.

Madbouly continued: Today we visited three factories concerned with the production of home appliances. These factories produce at the highest level and export abroad, and also have alliances with the world’s largest companies in production. He gave the example of the “Fresh” factory, pointing out that this factory today deals with brands. Large global production and export abroad.

He continued: Our only way to ensure stability and solve the problem of the dollar gap is to increase our sustainable resources, adding: Once again I emphasize the industrial sector, saying: Industry, then industry, then industry; As it is the basis for the coming period.

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly said: We also visited two other factories, namely the “Jotun” factory for industrial paints – which exports to all parts of the world – and the large industrial castle from which we are speaking now, “El-Sewedy”, which specializes in the production of electricity transformers, and we saw in it a global level of production, noting that all The transformers inside were intended for export to Middle Eastern countries, and there is also a level of products that will later be exported to Europe.

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, also said that within the framework of the full attention that the Egyptian state gives to the industrial sector, the government was keen to accelerate the pace of projects by granting them a golden license, which enabled the companies “Haier” and “Beko” to establish their factories in Less than a year ago, this prompted these companies to express their desire to expand in the Egyptian market and establish more factories, after they noticed the speed in issuing licenses and allocating land directly.

Dr. Mustafa Madbouly added: “I follow up on a monthly basis the implementation of construction, and study whether there are any obstacles hindering the construction process, the status of work progress, or the speed of importing machinery and equipment, and if there are any problems, they are solved immediately.”

He stressed, “This is our only way to achieve more rapid progress in the industrial sector.”

The Prime Minister indicated, in his television statements today, that 4 months ago, while monitoring the implementation of these projects, he stressed that the dollar crisis is just a passing crisis, and that we are able to overcome it, which made some criticize and question the solutions and vision.

He added: “I would like to point out here that the discussions taking place to conclude deals and agreements with major international institutions are subject to conditions of non-disclosure. These deals must first be completed, and then the announcement will be a next step.”

He continued: “When I confirmed that we would overcome this crisis, discussions were underway to reach final agreements on these deals and agreements.”

He added: I reiterate what President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi previously said, on more than one occasion, that things are improving significantly, and I confirm that they will improve for the better during the coming period.

The Prime Minister said that he is following up with the Governor of the Central Bank on a daily basis the flows of foreign currency, and thank God things have returned to normal, noting that we must continue the work with every effort to ensure the completion of the reform paths so that things return to normal in this regard.

He added: We keep in mind all the resources that can attract more foreign exchange flows, and we are working in parallel to rationalize spending and reduce the dollar gap. Which naturally decreases when domestic production increases and exports rise.

He continued: Some may ask a question about the government’s future vision, after the government succeeded in the short term in resolving the crisis by selling some assets and concluding agreements with international institutions.

The Prime Minister spoke about the government’s vision based on pushing the industrial, agricultural, communications and tourism sectors to take off as they are the sectors that provide the most job opportunities, in addition to the great investment opportunities in these sectors for the state that provide significant dollar resources.

The Prime Minister explained that according to the government’s plan, Egyptian exports are expected to exceed the barrier of 145 billion dollars by 2030, noting that what we are talking about is not a dream, but rather a plan that the government is working on by targeting all sectors that can achieve these rates of annual growth to achieve This is the target.

The Prime Minister indicated that this vision of the government is not limited to the short term, but rather extends to the medium term during the next 6 years, with the aim of the Egyptian state being able to solve its problem and secure its basic needs of hard currency, so that it is not exposed again to the crisis it went through. During the previous period.
