Tadawul Saudi Arabia announced the suspension of trading in the shares of a number of companies listed on the main market and the parallel market due to the companies’ failure to announce the annual financial statements ending on December 31, 2023 within the regulatory period specified in the rules for offering securities and continuing obligations issued by the Council of the Capital Market Authority.
Tadawul said in a statement, The companies are:
– Saudi Fish Company.
– Saudi Cable Company.
– Food Development Business Company.
– Najran Cement Company.
– Ayan Investment Company.
– Saudi Company for the Production of Clay Pipes.
– Al-Rashed Industrial Company.
– Shipping handling company.
She explained that this comes based on the market’s powers stipulated in the listing rules and the procedures for suspending trading in listed securities. Saudi Tadawul announces Take the following actions:
1- Suspending the trading of company shares in the market for one trading session, which falls on Monday, April 1, 2024.
2- Trading in company shares will resume for twenty trading sessions starting on Tuesday, April 1, 2024, following the session in which trading was suspended. Companies must publish financial statements before the end of Monday, May 6, 2024.
3- If a company does not announce the financial statements during the period referred to in Paragraph (2), trading in the stock will be re-suspended starting on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 until it announces the financial statements.
