Reuters news agency reported that Britain had summoned the Israeli ambassador over the killing of aid workers in the Gaza Strip, according to what Cairo News Channel reported in its urgent news.
While the French news agency said that Germany called on Israel to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the killing of aid workers in Gaza.
World Central Kitchen, or the charitable World Central Kitchen (WCK), confirmed that three of the seven aid workers killed in Gaza yesterday in an Israeli air strike were British citizens, according to the British newspaper The Guardian.
The group was traveling in two armored cars bearing the charity’s logo.
The foundation said that the dead were from the United Kingdom, Australia, Poland and Palestine, in addition to American-Canadian citizens. The charity said it had suspended its operations in the Palestinian territories.
