The Council of Ministers decides that the state will bear the residency fees for those displaced from neighboring countries who are retained and whose status is corrected

During its session this evening, chaired by Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Saudi Council of Ministers decided that the state will bear the following for those displaced from neighboring countries who are retained and whose status is corrected: (residency fees, work permit fees, service transfer fees, And fees for modifying professions, and the financial fees charged to private sector establishments, for a period of (four) years from the date of correction. The state shall bear all the fees – referred to – previously incurred by them, the financial compensation for their companions previously incurred, and the fines previously incurred by them related to violations of the provisions of the residency system.

The Council also approved a number of decisions, including:

– Amending the traffic system, as stated in the decision.

– Appointment of Mr. Bandar bin Anwar Al-Mashhadi and Mr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz in Al-Tayyur; Two members of the Digital Content Council who are specialists with experience in digital content, for a period of (three) years.

– Appointing Fahd bin Muhammad Hamid Al-Din as a representative member from the Ministry of Tourism, Salman bin Muhammad Al-Takhaifi as a representative member from the Ministry of Commerce, Ayman bin Muhammad Al-Mudaifer as a representative member from the Public Investment Fund, His Excellency Engineer/ Khaled bin Abdullah Al-Mulhim, Engineer/ Ziyad bin Saleh Al-Yahya, and Professor / Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Sarhan, representative members from the private sector on the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Civil Aviation for a period of (three) years.

– Appointment of His Excellency Engineer Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Rumaih, Mr. Mohammed bin Abdullatif Al-Hazami, Mr. Tal bin Hisham Nazer, Mr. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Qusayr, and Dr. Mark McClellan; Members of the Board of Directors of the National Health Insurance Center from the public and private sectors (local and international), for a period of (three) years.
