Director and producer Enas Al-Deghidi said that she performed the Hajj twice and Umrah about 20 times, noting that she entered into a fit of crying after she felt strong emotions upon seeing the Kaaba for the first time.
During an interview with the “Asrar” program with media personality Amira Badr, which was broadcast on Al-Nahar TV on Thursday evening, she considered that the matter turned into a mere practice of religious rituals in subsequent times, pointing out that she removed her hijab immediately upon boarding the plane after the end of the Hajj; Because she couldn’t bear it
She stressed that she does not waste her time finding out whether the hijab is obligatory or not. Rather, she focuses on her personal desire, saying: “I do not waste my time knowing whether hijab is obligatory or not. What matters is whether I want it or not.”
She mentioned that there are many obligations that she does not perform like many people, commenting: “Even if the hijab is imposed for many things, it is imposed on me, I do not do it, and we are all not alone. There are many obligations imposed on us that we do not do.”
