The second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals ended yesterday, Saturday, with Esperance defeating its counterpart ASEC Mimosas on penalties, while Sun Downs qualified for the semi-finals at the expense of Young Africans on penalties 3-2.
Al-Ahly defeated its Tanzanian counterpart, Simba, with a score of 3-0 on aggregate, and 2-0 in the return match that was held yesterday, Friday, at Cairo Stadium.
On the other hand, Congolese Mazembe defeated Petro Atletico with a score of 2-1, to qualify for the semi-finals of the African Champions League.
