Egyptian media revealed that a young man committed suicide on Monday after jumping into the Nile River from the top of a bridge in Giza Governorate, in a repeat of a similar incident that took place a few days ago in the same place.

The newspaper pointed out that surveillance cameras on the bridge showed the moment he jumped into the water, which negates criminal suspicion of the incident.
The brother of the young man in his thirties reported before the Public Prosecution that his brother owned a “Bazaar” store in the downtown area of Cairo, and had suffered major losses during the recent period, and had fallen into a state of depression, according to the newspaper.
