The National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research revealed that the dates… Eid al-Fitr prayer Al-Mubarak will be in Cairo at 5:59 a.m., Giza will be at 5:58, and Alexandria at 6:02, according to astronomical calculations conducted by the institute’s scientists.
The institute explained that the city of Halayeb is the first Egyptian location to perform the Eid al-Fitr prayer, as it is scheduled for 5:42 am, while the city of Salloum is the last city to perform the prayer, which is scheduled for 6:21 am.
He added that Eid al-Fitr prayers will be scheduled in Port Said, Suez, and Ismailia at 5:53 a.m., in Al-Arish and Sharm El-Sheikh at 5:47 a.m., and in Al-Tur and Hurghada at 5:50 a.m.
He continued that residents of the city of St. Catherine will perform the Eid al-Fitr prayer at 5:48 a.m., in Taba at 5:44 a.m., in the cities of Damanhour, Fayoum, and Assiut at 6:00 a.m., and in Tanta, Banha, and Kafr El-Sheikh at 5:58 a.m.
He pointed out that Eid al-Fitr prayers in Mansoura will be at 5:57 a.m., in Zagazig and Aswan at 5:56 a.m., and in the cities of Shebin al-Kom, Beni Suef, and Sohag at 5:59 a.m.
The National Institute for Astronomical Research explained that the time for Eid al-Fitr prayers in Minya and Abu Simbel is at 6:02 a.m., in Qena and Damietta at 5:55 a.m., in Marsa Matrouh at 6:13 a.m., in Kharga at 6:05 a.m., and in Nuweiba at 5 a.m. :45 AM, and in the city of Shalatin at 5:46 AM.
