Gabriel, score: 7
Another great game for the Arsenal stopper who frustrated the United attack time and time again and helped his side keep a clean sheet.
Rasmus the curtain, score: 4
The Norwegian striker was not in the game, and in the few situations he came to he was not focused enough.
The 37th round as part of the Premier League continued today (Sunday) when Manchester United hosted Arsenal for an intriguing battle at the end of which the Gunners prevailed 0:1 and returned to the top. At the expense of Manchester City. Leandro Trosar scored the only goal of the game to set the score.
The opening was very high-tempo with both teams attacking and creating chances, but it was Mikel Arteta’s side who managed to score when Leandro Trusser curled in from close range after a great Kai Heberts cross. Since the goal, the pace has calmed down and the visitors went into the break with the lead.
The second half opens as the first ended. Erik ten Haag’s team dominated a little more, but struggled to get into situations. On the other hand, the Gunners launched passing attacks and were dangerous, but were unable to double the result. At the end, Arsenal wins 0:1.
Following the victory, Arteta and his apprentices return to first place in the English league table, at the expense of Manchester City. Arsenal is at the top with 87 points, with the Citizens with 86 points and a game missing. On the other hand, the Red Devils continue to disappoint and count a third game without a win.
