In the old neighborhood of Shabazi in Rosh Ha’Ain, a large white passenger plane passes over houses and people. Even at an altitude of 400 meters you can clearly see the plane’s wing, the passenger windows and the company logo from the ground, mostly Israeli during wartime. Along with a powerful engine noise, you can hear the sounds of the landing gear being lowered and the screeching of the wheels being removed from the plane. The sound is deafening for about half a minute during which you have to cover your ears – and here comes another big plane. followed by another. The pace is even. Every three to four minutes a plane crosses Rosh Ha’in.
