The investigating authorities decided to release the young man, Saad Osama, who was accused of being slapped by the singer Amr Diab, while he was trying to take a picture with him.

The artist Amr Diab’s defense filed a report against the young man who tried to take selfies with the artist at one of the wedding parties, confirming that the young man grabbed his client Amr Diab from the back and forcefully put the mobile phone in his face.
Diab’s defense said that the artist welcomes any fan and does not repel anyone who wants to take pictures with him.
For his part, Dr. Mohamed Abdullah, the official spokesman for the Syndicate of Musical Professions and head of the Investigations Committee, said in a special statement to “Masrawy” that everything that is said about the existence of a complaint against the star Amr Diab is incorrect. The union has never received any notification regarding the incident.
He continued: “What is being raised is not true, just like what was reported about holding an emergency meeting of the union’s board of directors regarding the incident itself, which is not true.”
The star Amr Diab topped the lists of social networking sites and the search site Google, with the escalation of controversy over the incident of him slapping a “young man” while presenting his singing segment at the wedding of the daughter of producer Mohamed Al-Saadi and the son of businessman Mansour Amer.
