hosted the capital Saudi Arabia Riyadh, on Monday evening, a special screening of the movie “Awlad Rizq 3…The Judge”, in the presence of Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman General Entertainment Authority Saudi Arabia, and the heroes and family of the film, which achieved record revenues in the first days of its showing in Egyptian cinemas.
The film is considered the largest production in the history of Egyptian cinema. It was filmed in Riyadh and Cairo, and was supported by the Saudi Entertainment Authority, 5 years after the second part of the film, “Rizk’s Sons: The Return of the Lions of the Earth,” was shown, while the first part was shown in 2015.
The events of the third part revolve around the theft of something valuable from Tyson Fury (a British boxer), which will bring the heroes of the work into many conflicts with him.
The film stars Ahmed Ezz, Amr Youssef, Aser Yassin, Karim Kassem, Mohamed Lotfy, Basem Samra, Sayed Ragab, Iyad Nassar, Nisreen Amin, and Asma Galal, along with a large group of guests of honor, including Ahmed Fahmy and Karim Abdel Aziz. It is written by Salah Al-Juhaini and directed by Tariq Al-Erian.
The heroes and makers held a press conference after the special screening of the film, and they expected to produce a fourth, fifth, and perhaps tenth version of the film, in light of the support provided by the General Entertainment Authority.
They pointed out that the third part may achieve much higher revenues than the second, at a time when “Awlad Rizk 3” topped the list of daily revenues, with a value of 18 million and 163 thousand pounds, bringing the total achieved in various cinemas to 48 million pounds (about one million dollars). Within 5 days of screening, it became the first work to achieve a record in the history of Egyptian Arab cinema.
Ahmed Ezz: Visual dazzle
Egyptian actor Ahmed Ezz told Al-Sharq, “The film is for entertainment, laughter, and visual dazzle, which is the goal that was achieved in the first and second parts,” explaining that the story developed, except that “Rizk’s sons” are as they are, with the same structure and the same interconnectedness, but they are now carrying out their operations outside the country. Egypt, and this time in Saudi Arabia, noting that the presence of Saudi Arabia in the film is not interfering with its events.
Ahmed Ezz had said, before that, in a press conference on the Boulevard Square in Riyadh, on Monday evening, that “the success that was achieved artistically came as a result of the intense focus on the part of all participants in the film because we were truly keen to present work worthy of our audience.”
Regarding the film’s huge revenues, Ezz added: “Achieving the highest revenue is a blessing from God and trust will remain a burden on us to present unconventional works.”
Aser Yassin: A message of Arab strength
Meanwhile, Egyptian actor Aser Yassin said that the third part is characterized by the size of the dazzling element and the magnitude of the production, expressing his happiness with the success achieved by the film and the revenues it has achieved so far.
He added to Al-Sharq: “I love the experience of many Egyptian artists participating in Saudi artistic events, and I hope to increase this experience to produce joint artistic works because it sends a message of the strength and unity of the Arabs and the Arabic language.”
Aser Yassin said, in the press conference, that “the character of Al-Shayeb (which he presents in the film) is full of transformations,” attributing the film’s success to what he described as “the state of love that appeared in every scene with the direction of director Tariq Al-Arian.”
Sayed Ragab: I am Zamalek
Egyptian actor Sayed Ragab told Al-Sharq: “The third part turned into international cinema with Saudi Arabia’s involvement in the events and filming part of it in Riyadh,” considering that Saudi cinema will benefit greatly from this cooperation.
He added that the film is directed to the entire Arab audience, even though the main event takes place in Riyadh.
Sayed Ragab said, in the press conference, that the Al-Ahly and Zamalek scene should not be understood as an artistic trend, “because the artist creates art and fanaticism is not fanaticism,” and he added: “I am Zamalek, but I support Al-Ahly when it faces any foreign team.”
Iyad Nassar: Pleasure with respect
Jordanian actor Iyad Nassar told Al-Sharq that films do not necessarily have a message or adopt a cause, explaining that “Awlad Rizq” is a film simply to achieve fun with respect, remove people from the pressures of life, and help them ignore their worries for two hours, which is not an easy goal.
Nassar expressed his hope for an increase in cross-border artistic works because free art should not stop within the borders of a particular country.
The fourth part of Rizk’s sons
The film’s director, Tariq Al-Erian, said, “The support of the Entertainment Authority and Advisor Turki Al-Sheikh made a big difference because we were actually able to make everything we wanted, which was not the reason for it to come out like this.”
Author Salah Al-Juhaini spoke, saying: “The film’s message is to entertain the audience with a film that includes characters that I loved in the previous two parts,” and revealed that work had begun on the fourth part of the film “Walad Rizk.”

Last week, the heroes and makers of the film “Welad Rizk 3” celebrated the special screening in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, about 24 hours before the film was released to the public during the Eid al-Adha 2024 season, and the heroes of the work held a press conference to talk about the scenes of the third part.
Ahmed Ezz said that the movie “Wlad Rizk 3” is significantly different from the previous two parts, describing the work as “closer to global, and implemented with highly advanced and unprecedented techniques, in light of the huge support that the project received to ensure its release at a professional level.”
Ezz explained, during his conversation with Al-Sharq, that “the film received great support from the Saudi Entertainment Authority, which added a lot to the work at the level of story, image, sound, and everything.”
Actor Amr Youssef told Al-Sharq that the movie “Welad Rizk 3” includes many surprises in all its details, especially in the nature of the operation carried out by Welad Rizk in this part, which he described as the strongest and most productive.
