Hurry pilgrims begin the farewell circumambulation and head to Medina News

Pilgrims of the Sacred House of God continue to stone the Jamarat on the three days of Tashreeq, and continue their overnight stay in Mina, while hurried pilgrims perform the farewell circumambulation today, Tuesday, before heading to Medina, where the Prophet’s Mosque and the grave of the Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, are located.

According to the Saudi News Agency (SPA), hurried pilgrims perform the farewell circumambulation (around the Holy Kaaba in the Holy House of God) amid intense preparations and an integrated system of services for the guests of God.

While Medina is preparing to receive the first delegations of the guests of the Most Merciful, who have been blessed by God Almighty to perform Hajj this year.

Pilgrims go to this holy city (west of the Kingdom) after performing the obligatory prayer with the aim of visiting the Noble Prophet’s Mosque, praying in it, and honoring the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and many mosques and Islamic sites closely linked to the Prophet’s biography.

At a time when pilgrims who are not in a hurry to stay in the Holy City (Mecca) will continue to stone the Jamarat in Mina, west of the Kingdom, today and tomorrow, before performing the Farewell Tawaf.

The Saudi authorities have warned of a severe rise in temperatures and recommended that pilgrims adhere to the plan for cremating the Jamarat and remain inside their places of residence during the day.

The Hajj season – which lasts for 6 days – began on Friday with the Day of Tarwiyah, and Saturday witnessed stopping at Arafat and spending the night in Muzdalifah, and Sunday witnessed the start of stoning the Jamarat, then slaughtering the sacrificial animal and performing the Ifadah Tawaf, and from Monday to Wednesday, throwing the Jamarat again and concluding with the Farewell Tawaf.

The Ifadah Tawaf is the third pillar of the four pillars of Hajj. The first of these is Ihram, which is the intention to perform the rituals. The second is standing at Arafat, the third is the Ifadah Tawaf, and the fourth is Sa’i between Safa and Marwa.

Mina’s hair is located within the borders of the Holy Mosque, between Mecca and Muzdalifah, 7 kilometers northeast of the Grand Mosque. It is a valley surrounded by mountains on both the northern and southern sides, and is only inhabited for the duration of Hajj. It is bordered on the one hand by Mecca, Jamrat al-Aqaba, and on the Muzdalifah hair is Wadi Muhassar.

In another context, the Saudi Minister of Health, Fahd Al-Jalajel, announced today the success of the health plans for this year’s Hajj season 1445 AH, and that it is free of any outbreaks or threats to public health, in a statement reported by SPA.

On Saturday, the Saudi Minister of Hajj, Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, announced that the total number of pilgrims for this year 1445 AH (2024) reached one million and 833 thousand and 164 male and female pilgrims from more than 200 countries, including 221 thousand and 854 from within the Kingdom.
