Washington, June 20 (QNA) – Inter Miami defeated its Columbus Crew counterpart, two goals to one, during their match today, in the American Football League.
Inter Miami scored two goals after 21 minutes of the match, through Ian Fry and Leonardo Campana in the 10th and 21st minutes, while Cucho Hernandez scored Columbus Crew’s goal in the 40th minute.
With this victory, Inter Miami topped the East Group standings with (41) points, two points ahead of runner-up Cincinnati with (39) points.
Argentine Lionel Messi and Uruguayan Luis Suarez missed participating with Inter Miami due to their presence with their country’s national teams in the Copa America Championship, which begins at dawn tomorrow, Friday.
