UEFA shocks Mbappe before facing France and the Netherlands…
Kylian Mbappe, the France national team player, continues to prepare to face the Netherlands national team, tomorrow evening, Friday, in the second round of the third group of the European Nations Championship currently being held in Germany.
Mbappe suffered a broken nose after violent contact with Austrian player Kevin Danso during the two teams’ match in the first round of the Euro.
The French star resorted to using a mask for the nose and face to participate in training and matches in the coming period, and indeed he appeared with a mask in the colors and logo of the French national team, in his country’s national team training on Thursday morning.
According to the rules and regulations of the European Football Association, Mbappe will have to use another mask in the upcoming match against the Netherlands, as the laws stipulate that the face masks worn by the players must be of one color, and without any logos for either the teams or the companies that produce them.
If the new mask is not available on time, Mbappe will be at risk of missing the France-Netherlands summit despite Didier Deschamps, the Rooster’s technical director, officially announcing his readiness.
It is worth noting that the French team began its tournament with a stumbling victory over Austria with a friendly fire goal, and needs a win in order to take the lead in the group, while the Netherlands beat Poland by two goals to one.
