Books – Hassan Morsi:
Journalist Mustafa Bakri called for an urgent and transparent investigation into the issue of the deceased and missing Egyptian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia, stressing that what happened should not go unnoticed. He pointed out that the responsibility falls largely on the shoulders of tourism companies, calling on those who cannot bear the responsibility to step down.
During his program “Facts and Secrets” on Sada El Balad channel, Bakri confirmed that hundreds of pilgrims have gone missing and no one knows their fate, demanding clarification of who is responsible for them.
He pointed out that the House of Representatives will discuss briefing requests regarding the details of this case, and will determine the cause of the death of these pilgrims and who is responsible for leaving them in the street under high temperatures.
The presenter of “Facts and Secrets” praised President Sisi’s directives to form a work cell to follow up and manage the crisis, stressing that the Egyptian state will not tolerate what happened, calling on Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly to come to the House of Representatives to explain what happened and listen to everyone, commenting: “So far, 600 deaths have been announced.” He lost 250, and I do not think that is the case, and the president and the Egyptian state will not tolerate what happened.”
Bakri stressed the people’s right to know what is happening, wondering about the role of tourism companies in this crisis, especially with regard to the presence of pilgrims who were not entitled to leave Egypt.
Journalist Mustafa Bakri added: “People have the right to know what is happening. We are a country with the largest number of missing persons,” demanding a comprehensive investigation into the case and clarification of its circumstances to public opinion.
