Amir Hezroni, known as one of the most controversial figures in the Israeli media, surprised his followers on social networks with a dramatic image change. In a post he published this morning (Tuesday) on his Instagram account, Hatzroni revealed a completely new look, while inviting his followers to comment and criticize.
“What do you think? How stunning is that?” A Hezroni reporter, and in a typical manner, did not hesitate to link the image change to charged political issues. “You can also link the war crimes in Gaza and Bibi’s trial to politics and the unnecessary war – but you don’t have to,” he added with his characteristic sarcasm.
Hezroni’s image change comes after years of provocations and controversies. One of the most memorable incidents was when a chair was thrown at him during a live broadcast, an incident that ended in his injury and a police complaint. Despite the drama, the case was eventually closed without charges being filed.

Meanwhile, the reactions on the net range from admiration to criticism, with many wondering if the external change also heralds an internal change. The followers didn’t stop debating: “You really look like a lesbian with hormones”, “Wow, we can agree or disagree with your political views but this ugliness cuts across sectors”, and also: “When you open the front camera by mistake”.
