Sabrina Carpenter skips ACL Fest, announces 3 Texas shows: how to get tickets

Pop princess Sabrina Carpenter is bringing her “Espresso” to three Texas cities in fall 2024 as part of the music artist’s “Short n’ Sweet Tour.”

Along with a handful of North American tour dates, the “Please Please Please” singer revealed who will be joining her as opening acts for different portions of the tour: Amaarae, Declan McKenna and Griff. For the three Texas shows, Griff — who recently opened up for Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” show in London, England, on Saturday, June 22 — will serve as Carpenter’s opening act.

The North American leg of the “Short n’ Sweet Tour” will kick off in Columbus, Ohio, on Monday, Sept. 23, and will wrap in Los Angeles on Friday, Nov. 15. As for the three Texas dates, Carpenter will first visit the Toyota Center located at 1510 Polk St. in Houston on Sunday, Oct. 27. Next, the singer will head to the Moody Center, 2001 Robert Dedman Drive in Austin, Texas, on Monday, Oct. 28, before playing a show in Dallas, Texas, at the American Airlines Center, 2500 Victory Ave., on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Fans of Carpenter, known as Carpenters, in the Lone Star State were likely curious as to why the “Bad for Business” singer wasn’t on the 2024 lineup for ACL Music Fest. But with the announcement of her tour in support of her upcoming sixth album, “Short n’ Sweet,” which is set to be released on Friday, Aug. 23, it seems to now make sense why she wasn’t in the mix.

If you’re hoping to see Carpenter at one of her three Texas stops, here’s when and how to get tickets.
