Palestinian international defender Yasser Hamad officially announced his departure from Zamalek before the end of the current 2023/2024 season.
Zamalek had included the 26-year-old player on a free transfer during the last winter transfer.
But the player did not participate much with Zamalek; he participated in only 3 matches, for 27 minutes against Abu Salim of Libya in the Confederation Cup, for 90 minutes against Smouha in the league, and for two minutes against Al-Ittihad in the league.
During this period, the international player won the Confederation Cup with Zamalek.
The player had joined the ranks of Zamalek after ending his journey in the Indian League through the portal of NorthEast United Club.
The Zamalek experience is not the first for Yasser Hamad, as he previously wore the Al-Masry Al-Port Said shirt in the 2021/2022 season after the end of his contract with the Bahraini team, Busaiteen, but he left due to not receiving his financial dues and then joined Al-Rayyan of Qatar and then Al-Qadisiyah of Kuwait before moving to the Indian League.
