Abderrazak Hamdallah bids farewell to Al-Ittihad and agrees with his new club in the Roshn League

The Saudi Al-Riyadiya newspaper revealed that Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah, the Al-Ittihad striker, had reached an agreement with his new club in the Saudi Roshan League.

Al-Ittihad and the Moroccan striker had agreed to end their contractual relationship this summer. Several press sources said that this was done at the desire of the player himself, while some confirmed that Louay Nazer, the new club president, was the one who made this decision.

Al-Riyadiya explained that Hamdallah reached an agreement with the Saudi Al-Taawoun Club to play for them next season, but without revealing the details of that agreement, whether the duration of the contract, the transfer mechanism, or the player’s annual salary.

Al-Taawoun finished last season fourth in the Saudi Roshen League standings, which secured a place in the AFC Champions League 2 group, while Al-Ittihad did not achieve this goal by finishing fifth.

It is noteworthy that Hamdallah joined Al-Ittihad at the beginning of 2022, after his contract was terminated by Al-Nasr, amid great controversy. He achieved remarkable success with the team by leading it to win the league title and the Super Cup, and was crowned with it as the league’s top scorer in the season before last.
