The Board of Directors of the Seha Holding Company held its meeting, chaired by the Minister of Health, Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al-Jalajel, to discuss preparations for the launch of the second phase of transformation in the Ministry of Health, with the identification of three health clusters as a first batch for the transition to the Seha Holding Company.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Council approved the organizational structures of the health clusters, in addition to approving the settlement of employees who will transfer from the Ministry of Health to the Health Holding Company, provided that the salary of any employee is not less than what he was receiving before the transfer, in accordance with Cabinet Resolution No. 616, as the service of civil service employees will be included after the transfer according to the system of exchanging benefits between the civil and military retirement systems and the social insurance system, and the service of self-employment employees is considered complementary after its transfer according to the resolution.
The Council stressed the importance of completing the application of the modern health care model provided by health clusters, which aims to improve the quality of health services and take care of human health before illness, highlighting the importance of investing in and maintaining employees, as a training program has been developed that suits the skill and leadership needs of employees, in order to perform… Their mission is to effectively provide high-quality health care in the next stage, which requires providing all health services to beneficiaries.
The Council stressed the importance of implementing the leadership’s directives to continue providing free treatment to all citizens and improving the quality, efficiency and accessibility of health services, drawing attention to the company’s efforts to improve health services for all and ensure sustainable health care quality, to place the Kingdom on the global health care map.
