An informed government source told Extra News Channel in an urgent news item that the Ministers of Irrigation and Higher Education, Dr. Hani Sweilem and Dr. Ayman Ashour, will continue in their positions during the new ministerial formation.

The source said that Margaret Saroufim will be appointed as Deputy Minister of Social Solidarity, in addition to appointing Jacqueline Azer as Governor of Beheira, as part of the expected governors’ movement.

There is a state of anticipation for the announcement of the formation of the new government headed by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, noting that the government will take the constitutional oath tomorrow, Wednesday.

The new government, headed by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, will take the constitutional oath tomorrow afternoon, Wednesday, at the Presidency of the Republic, and this will be followed by a meeting of the new Cabinet.

Earlier, an informed government source reported that the ministerial change includes nearly 20 ministerial portfolios.

He added that the ministerial change is comprehensive and witnessed the merger of ministries and the creation of others within the framework of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to develop government policies to keep pace with the challenges facing the state.

He pointed out that the change includes a large number of ministerial portfolios and governors, noting that “the new government will work according to a specific program that takes into account the arrangement of priorities, most notably improving the services provided to citizens, structural reform of the economy, and encouraging investment.”
