He is the Chairman and Founding Partner of Araa Studies and Consulting Company in Syria, and owns 400 shares in it, representing 40%.

He also holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors and Founding Partner of the “Jodour Group for Agriculture and Animal Husbandry”, and owns 400 shares, representing 40%.

Baraa Qaterji participated in establishing several companies in Syria, including “Qaterji Mechanical Engineering Industries Private Joint Stock Company”, in which he owns a 34% stake, and “Arfada Petroleum Company”, in which he owns a 34% stake. He also participated in establishing “Qaterji Group Holding Company”, in which he owns a 34% stake.

Baraa Qaterji and his brother Hussam, a former member of the People’s Assembly, come from the city of Al-Bab in the northern countryside of Aleppo, but he was born and raised in Raqqa Governorate in 1976.
