A report revealed that Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne (33 years old) has agreed to the personal terms of his transfer to Saudi club Al-Ittihad, bringing the curtain down on a 10-year career at the Etihad Stadium, the home of the Premier League champions.

According to journalist Rudy Galetti, negotiations are currently underway between the two clubs over the value of the deal, so that De Bruyne will join former Real Madrid star Karim Benzema and his compatriot N’Golo Kante and play under the leadership of French coach Laurent Blanc, former Manchester United defender.

Al-Ittihad finished the season in fifth place, 40 points behind league champions Al-Hilal, despite having big names in the team, including Fabinho and Jota, but it appointed Ramon Planes as sports director and is looking to strengthen its ranks in preparation for the new season.

If the deal is approved and officially announced, Kevin De Bruyne will join the Union camp in Benidorm, Spain, where the team played a friendly match against Elche on Saturday evening. The team will face Sevilla next Friday, then end the summer tour by facing Real Betis on August 3.
