The Minister of Sports appeared with a number of Egyptian fans who wore pharaonic costumes and were present to support the Pharaohs of handball.
And presented Egypt national team Good performance and result during the start of the journey in the upcoming Olympic Games currently in Paris.
The handball team defeated its Hungarian counterpart in the first match during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, with a score of 35-32.
The first half ended with a score of 19/15 in favor of Egypt, and in the second half the score ended in favor of the Pharaohs with a score of 35-32.
The handball team is in a strong group that includes Denmark, France, Argentina, Hungary and Norway.
The handball team list includes 14 players: Karim Handawy – Mohamed Ali – Ibrahim Al-Masry – Abdel Rahman Faisal – Mohamed Tarek – Yehia Khaled – Yehia Al-Daraa – Saif Al-Daraa – Mahab Saeed – Ahmed Hisham Dodo – Ahmed Adel – Ali Zein – Mohamed Sand – Omar Bakkar.
The reserve list includes: Mohamed Essam El Tayyar – Khaled Walid – Akram Youssef.
The Egyptian mission is participating with the largest number of players in its history in the Olympic Games, with 148 main players, male and female, and 16 reserve players, with a total of 164 players in 22 sports. The Pharaohs’ mission is also the largest in Arab and African participation.
The Egyptian mission seeks to provide good results according to the state’s strategy, which has spared no effort in providing all means of support and assistance to all players to raise Egypt’s name high in the Olympic event.
