Malak came in second place in the second group in the swimming competitions with a time of 2:15.70 minutes, to obtain 279 points. Malak Ismail succeeded in advancing to the final of the modern pentathlon, after winning eighth place in the running and shooting (laser run) competitions, and she collected 610 points, to raise her score to 1391 points. On the other hand, Salma Ayman Abdel Maqsoud bid farewell to the competitions in the semi-finals, after occupying seventeenth place with a total of 1084 points, and this comes due to the crisis she faced in the equestrian competitions, after the horse refused to jump the barrier, to exit with 0 out of 300 points. The final competitions of the modern pentathlon for women are scheduled to start tomorrow, Sunday, at exactly twelve noon.
