AC Milan CEO Giorgio Forlani has settled the controversy over the possibility of Portuguese winger Rafael Leao moving to Barcelona.
The buzz in Spain began earlier this week when media reported that Barcelona were betting heavily on Leao to join this summer.
“Is it possible for Leao to play for Barcelona this season? No, his chances are zero. He will stay with Milan 100%, he has not asked to leave,” Forlani said on the famous Spanish program “El Chiringuito.”
Asked if Leao wanted to move to Barcelona, Milan’s CEO added: “He didn’t tell us he wanted to, I think my message is clear.”
Leao played 211 matches with Milan in all competitions, scoring 58 goals and making 50 assists.
