Aden Golan appeared last night (Wednesday) in the final of “Dancing with the Stars” and conquered the stage when she demonstrated impressive dancing skills to the sounds of her iconic song “Hurricane”, which she performed masterfully at the last Eurovision.
Golan wore a different dress from the dress we remember from the Eurovision final, but there is a whole story behind it: the dress Golan wore last night is the original dress planned for the Eurovision performance, but was shelved by the contest organizers due to allegations of political symbols.
“Unfortunately, we received an explicit instruction not to use any symbol or element related to the subject. We had to send a sketch and get approval, and sketches with symbols or references to the situation in Israel were rejected outright,” fashion designer Alon Livna, who designed the two dresses, wrote on his Instagram account at the time.
As mentioned, last night, Aden Golan chose to wear the original dress and thus surprised the audience at home and threw a sort of implicit sting to the Eurovision contest organizers who did not allow her to go on stage in Malmö with the dress – a surprising move made together with Livna and the stylist Itai Bezaleli.

The original dress included ropes sculpted on Golan’s body in the chest and neck area combined with a creamy white bottom and a short length in the front and longer in the back, which gives an interesting and more dramatic twist to the whole look.
Stylist Itai Bezaleli wrote last night about the original dress on his Instagram page: “This is the dress that was put away. For Eurovision, Alon and I made two dresses for Aden. One was the dress you see here in the pictures and the other was the torn dress that was on the Eurovision stage. This dress you see here was my favorite dress , something about her was so special and original. She’s sitting on Eden, just wow. The problem was that she was too beautiful, too fashionable, so she didn’t fit our stage show at Eurovision.”

Alon Livna added: “This dress was supposed to be the dress for Eurovision, and after it was disqualified, I designed the dress we all know. We were waiting for the right moment to wear it, and the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ finale is the perfect moment.”
