Al-Waqi’a News: A press report raised a big surprise regarding the transfer of Spanish star Sergio Ramos, former Real Madrid and Sevilla player, to the ranks of the Egyptian club Zamalek during the current summer transfer period.
Sports critic Amr El-Dardery said on his personal Facebook page that “Egyptian club Zamalek is currently negotiating with Sergio Ramos,” without further details.
After leaving Sevilla last season, Ramos was linked with playing in the Saudi league for the first time, whether through the newly promoted Al-Orobah club or Al-Shabab and Al-Nasr before them, but the Spanish newspapers reported that the historic Real Madrid defender decided not to leave Spain and end his career in his country.
